Dear devotees!

Please note – the date and place of the Festival has changed – from 4 to 11 August. The Festival will be held on the shore of Bebrusai lake, in Molėtai district, village Kirneile, in the territories of recreation centre Ruta and SPA hotel Belvilis 4-5*.

The reason for the change – hotel complex Dubingiai was sold, and the new owner did not accept the signed contract and put forward a new conditions. Unfortunately, they were inadequate to the market price and our financial capacity, and after intensive negotiations it was decided to move the Festival to another location.

We understand that this causes a lot of inconvenience for those who have already planned holidays, so we sincerely apologize for the situation.

The new place is also very beautiful – pine forest and a wonderful lake. The good news is that accommodation prices will also be friendlier due to the simpler accommodation conditions, and for those who want more comfort, we can offer you accommodation in a SPA hotel and cottages Belvilis 4-5 *.

The new location of the Festival, the conditions and its surrounding nature for the festival organizers seemed even more in the spirit of devotion than before. Therefore we hope that we will all get even more deep spiritual experience and transcendental mellows 🙂

There is no need to register to the festival anew. Please visit the Festival website and familiarise yourself with the new accommodation types http://festivals.lt/en/summer-festival/registration/ . Then, please, reply to this email and let us know which accommodation option and conditions suit you best. The difference between the advance payment and the new price will be paid (or refunded) upon arrival at the Festival.

For those who cannot or do not want to participate in the Festival in a new place and with new conditions, we will return the transferred donation – please, email us regarding it on  vaishnava.summerfestival@gmail.com

Baltic Summer Vaishnava Festival and Kirtan Mela 2019 invites all to get to know the Vaishnava culture, the ancient Vedic tradition. Lectures by deciples of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, lectures for beginners, vegetarian food, enchanting kirtans (musical meditation), sober people, exotic clothes, beautiful nature, morning meditation (from 4:30 AM!) and many other spiritual entertainment!

We invite to participate both advanced bhakti yogis and the curious one who want to explore this amazing culture!!

It is said that it is very auspicious to take prasadam from metal dishes especially from one‘s own. Every year we throw mountains of plastic dishes away. Therefore, we would like this festival to become an environmentally-friendly place. A place where nature – the Lord‘s creation – is being protected and cared for! Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your sense of responsibility very much!

Vegans who want to get a vegan prasad for lunch – please register by mail vaishnava.summerfestival@gmail.com marked “vegan prasad” (usually milk at the festival is not ahimsa, but from farm where cows graze freely and certified as organic)

Do not miss the opportunity to take part at the Festival opening event – Yajnya – fire  ritual, which will begin at 4 pm. August 4th.

Information about travelling to the Festival place from Vilnius

Bus to the Festival place from Vilnius, Raugyklos str. 23, leaves on 2019.08.04 at 12:00 AM; 3:00 PM; 6:00 PM
Bus from the Festival place to Vilnius leaves on 2019.08.11 at 2:00 PM
In Vilnius will be at ~ 3:20 PM . Price for round trip – 10 Euro.

Festival bus will also run daily (only for registered): From Vilnius (Konstitucijos pr. 26 – from the river side) to the Festival place and back.
Leaving time from Vilnius at 07:00 back to Vilnius at 21:00.

Information for parents: During the Festival will be organized nice program for children. Also, if you have any bicycles, volleyball or basketball balls, swimming accessories and so on, please bring it along to the Festival.
